Turf Wars: A Bloody Good Exhibit
June 1 - July 17
“Let’s get serious. There’s a gang war and it’s brutal”. Then-Chief Constable Jim Chu went against everyone’s advice in 2009 and admitted that Vancouver had a gang problem.
In this intense new exhibit, the Vancouver Police Museum maps out 30 years of bloody gang violence on our city streets. Amongst the melee, it highlights the suppression and enforcement strategies developed by the VPD’s Gang Crime Unit to address this very Vancouver situation.
So grab your bulletproof vest, and visit our newest exhibit: Turf Wars. Now open to mature audiences only.
